There was a wonderful moment at the one and only Referendum Party conference, held over one day in Brighton during October 1996. This was my first ever political conference, I was there with my wife, Linda, and feeling very proud of myself as I had literally been selected as a Referendum Party Parliamentary candidate three days prior to the conference.
The weather had been surprisingly warm and sunny for the time of year, and as the morning wore on the conference hall became quite warm. Some of the speakers had been droning on and although what they had to say was all worthwhile, most of the speakers, with the exception of one of my hero's, the journalist Christopher Booker, who gave a rousing speech regarding the insanity of the EU's Common Fishing Policy, all the other speakers tended to sound much the same and as the morning wore on I found I began to have a job keeping my eyes open and began to feel increasingly drowsy. Looking around I could see others having difficulty keeping awake too.
Suddenly the late countryman, Robin Page, was on the podium and the whole hall became alert in an instant as Robin boomed out in a loud voice: "YOU ARE ALL FAILURES". He continued with this theme and drove it home again that each and everyone of us in the hall had all failed, including himself. By now all the delegates were wide awake and alert and he had their full attention, that was when he revealed how many millions the EU was spending on propaganda and we had all failed to be brainwashed by it!
That wonderful moment was recorded on video and as a candidate I was given videos of all the the days speeches, which I have now handed on to the Brexit Museum and one day, hopefully in the not too distant future, people will be able to see Robin's wonderful and rousing speech. With luck they will continue to be brainwashing failures too as mass brainwashing by this Government and, especially the BBC, has increased drastically since the beginning of my now past political career.
Every day when we listen to the news, when we switch on the wireless and TV, or. daft enough to read left leaning newspapers such as the Guardian or the Daily Mirror, there is brainwashing on a whole range of things that should be a serious concern to any logical right thinking person. We are continuously being bombarded with spurious items about climate change and global warming, made to feel like terrible people if we have concerns about mass immigration and the constant armada of dinghies and small boats crossing the Channel with thousands of young men, none of which have any details on them and could be mass murderers, terrorist, rapists or criminals escaping justice for their crimes.
We switch on to watch re-runs of the old classic BBC programmes such as the Good Life or Yes Minister, harmless and clever comedies from better days and yet we are bombarded with a warning that these innocent programmes may contain language of the time that may cause offence. I am offended at those trigger warnings, not the programmes. Then if you dare watch what is branded as comedy these days, there is no trigger warnings despite the programmes being far from humorous or clever, they just rely on bad language and crudity as, supposedly, some sort of humour.
The news is full of people making up tales of climate change and global warming, no one who has evidence to oppose this one sided BBC brainwashing and propaganda is allowed on their airwaves. The BBC learned an important lesson from debates about our membership of the EU, despite being biased in favour of the EU they did allow a minority of EU leavers a small amount of space. At that time a typical BBC, so-called fair debate about our then disastrous membership of the EU, consisted of one person for the EU, one person against, and another, supposedly neutral, who once the debate got going, soon revealed they were pro-EU. BBC Question Time, typically, would have one anti-EU person and the rest pro, so much for BBC impartiality. When the country voted to escape the EU's democracy destroying clutches in 2016 the BBC realised, to its horror it had lost that battle by allowing a chink in its armour, from that moment never again would they ever give anyone to oppose the BBC viewpoint on matters it prioritised. It had learned an important lesson and never again would anyone be allowed the opportunity to speak the truth in opposition to BBC propaganda. Hence these days they happily continue to brainwash the nation that the world is warming at the fastest rate ever, despite people looking out of their windows seeing cool miserable weather - but don't try to tell the BBC as you will be branded a 'Climate denier'.
Then there is the matter of homosexuals, lesbians and men and women pretending to be be members of the opposite gender to that at birth. The BBC has gone overboard with this stuff. I have come to the conclusion when watching BBC they have made it compulsory to include homosexuals and lesbians, which I can accept if it's integral to the storyline, but surely the sheer numbers now included is akin to overkill on the BBC brainwashing propaganda designed to make us all think this is normal. Sadly, I fear it makes me cringe when these programmes show two people of the same gender kissing, there are no trigger warnings for these cringe making scenes which I find offensive. I am opposed to watching this brainwashing on the BBC which will no doubt brand me as 'homophobic'. And don't get me started on such vile programmes as Rue Paul's drag race. Seeing men dressed as old tarts is seriously creepy, and that is now being inflicted on children in schools who are being brainwashed and conditioned into growing up believing gender is fluid. In a few years from now there will be a whole new population of young people totally confused just about everything.
The campaigning group, Coalition for Marriage, has recently reported on the BBC grooming the nation. It reports that even one of the BBC's own, Robin Aitken, gives his views on the "BBC's persistent and troubling promotion of transgenderism and liberal ideology."
Sadly, the BBC is now out of control, it has been taken over by the left, woke and politically correct and is now an irrelevance that sadly, forces anyone who wants to watch TV. who may never watch the BBC, to still pay an overpriced TV tax.
We have also been victims of brainwashing about mass immigration and the rapid change of culture in our towns and cities as people flood into the country and change, forever, the demographics of the nation. We are told it is multicultural and isn't it wonderful as whole areas become akin to a foreign nation as many immigrants, including their offspring, refuse to integrate into the British way of life. It is the British who are being told to integrate rather than those coming to live here for, understandably, a better quality of life. Surely it is not too much to ask for them to adapt, but the propagandist declare that a multicultural society is wonderful and those of us struggling to cope with people in our mist refusing to speak our language or be part of the country they are now living in, say we are the ones in the wrong and are far right and racists. We are not, we are willing to give a better life to those coming here legally, all we ask of them them is to integrate.
T.V. historical dramas are now used for propaganda and brainwashing, they often have black and Asian people playing Lords and ladies in medieval or Tudor times, which for historical purists is an insult. The BBC had a black actress playing the part of Anne Boleyn, for which we were told by their propagandist was perfectly acceptable as part of diversity and inclusion. However, could you imagine the outrage if a white person was given the part of a black historical person, that would be classed as 'cultural misappropriation' and set off an outrage of indignity, yet a black Ann Boleyn was fine and white people were branded as racists for complaining about our history being destroyed. Recently, in order to let the people of Britain know just how wrong they are about race, the propagandists really took the biscuit when we were informed that Stonehenge was built by black people! These people who make this stuff up must have really been on an overdose of some funny substance the day they came up with that one. How come those black people, from the time of Stonehenge to when the Romans invading, had become fair skinned, so much so the Romans declared these Brits as "Angles", or angels?
Hopefully all this socialist, far left propaganda will be ignored and the nation will continue to be "failures" and the people refuse to be brainwashed by the pro-EU remainers, the woke brigade and especially the BBC.
