Cameron is Not the Tories Suppository

tin-2535070_1280 The Government is Constipated

The conservative party is constipated. Bringing back Cameron makes it worse, not better. The One Nation group of MPs led by Damien Green are Europhile. Despite the failing performance of the EU's major economies they still worship the 'project'. It's hard not to believe that their shenanigans are not deliberate sabotage. They have no hope of rejoining the EU unless Labour come to power. Like fifth columns throughout history they have been hiding in plain site, waiting for the right time. Immigration is not the real issue, but a convenient means of hiding real intention with faux liberalism.

Immigration cannot be solved by offshoring. It can be solved by removing the possibility of cheap foreign labour, training British people, investing in ways to improve productivity. Illegal immigration could be solved by simply taking arrivals to any one of numerous islands that are UK territory and housing them in tents. That's a deterrent.

Sunak is a man whose vanity and ruthless ambition far outweigh his ability. He is an opportunist who fails to grasp opportunity. With little help from the government Brexit Britain is doing rather better than her EU rivals. Of course that does not stop the EUphile caucus denigrating the UK at every opportunity. Sunak has not only failed to grasp BREXIT opportunity, he even fails to defend the fact of it unlike the Guardian.

Recently I asked a passionate supporter of the EU the only question that I believe is relevant. "Why do you prefer rule by an unelected and democratically unaccountable president and 27 person Commission, to sovereign democracy?" For the first time I got an answer. "Because" he said, "the people are ignorant and cannot make decisions, they need to be ruled". I heard similar arguments in Germany when the debate raged concerning the Euro. They did not claim the people were 'ignorant' just that currency union was far too complicated for anyone other than an expert. It was for ministers to appoint the experts who would decide. The failings of experts are legion. Frau Merkel and Olaf Scholz, to say nothing of Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron and May do little to inspire faith in politicians.

The truth is that most members of parliament agree with the 'People are ignorant' view. They pay lip service to democracy and believe in 'Rule'. The majority of people in the UK supported BREXIT. They support sovereignty, low taxes, controlled borders and the opportunity through work to improve their lives and those of their families. Those aspirations are supported by about a hundred out of 650 members of parliament. Even fewer in the Lords. The political party's presently in Parliament do not represent the people. They have been set up in such away that they cannot.

Surely it is time for the people to take control. The BREXIT vote was a clear instruction. Large parts of the instruction are being ignored by Government and Civil Service. A Labour government will be no better. It is time for courage, time to grab destiny by voting for the new, for a complete change. There are two new parties. Reform on the right and the SDP on the centre left. Both support the aspirations of the majority. Both support democracy. The present government is a Blair Labour Clone. Our only hope is a complete upheaval and replacement of the status quo. The minority of MPs that support the majority of the people have a duty to kick start the revolution. Instead of trying to breath life into a bloated machine the should form the vanguard of a new democratic order.
